Smaran Sivashankar

Co-Founder

Smaran Sivashankar is a junior at UNC studying Health Policy and Management. He completed his EMS training at UNC through Association for Carolina in Emergency Response and Injury Prevention (ACERIP). In his free time, he likes to play spikeball and tennis.

Parth Shirolkar 

Co-Founder

Parth Shirolkar is a junior at UNC studying Health  Behavior. He completed his EMS training with Wake Tech in Raleigh last summer. Parth is excited to work with our community. Outside of professional interests, Parth is a tennis fanatic, and loves reading a good book. 

Michael Lu

Vice President of Outreach

Michael Lu is a junior at UNC studying Health Policy and Management with a minor in Medical Anthropology. After completing EMS training through the Association for Carolina in Emergency Response and Injury Prevention (ACERIP), he now serves as a student instructor for the program. Michael enjoys journaling, exploring nature, and playing chess. 

Anthony Chen

Vice President of Recruitment 

Anthony is a third-year premed student majoring in Biostatistics and Biology at UNC-Chapel Hill. Anthony works as an EMT at the South Orange Rescue Squad, providing coverage within the 911 system and first aid at community events. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys cooking, playing the oboe, and hiking.
